Throwigami is made by Maker Frontier L.L.C. This policy explains how we handle information when you visit throwigami.com, ask for launch updates, contact us, or use the current Throwigami beta app.
The short version
Your folding progress and flight records stay in the app on your device. You do not need a Throwigami account. The website's launch list is optional, for adults, and separate from the app. We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Information on the website
If you join the launch list, we save your email address and a record of your consent, including when you signed up and the privacy-policy version shown to you. We use that information to manage the list and provide the Throwigami launch updates you requested. Joining the list does not enroll you in TestFlight or create an account. We are collecting signups before launch; an automated email service is not yet connected.
If you email Support@makerfrontier.com, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request and resolve support or privacy issues. Please do not send passwords, payment details, or unnecessary personal information.
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and stores the launch list for us. To deliver the site and help prevent abuse, Cloudflare processes technical information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and traffic data. Our launch-list database does not store your IP address. We may use a temporary, hashed network identifier to limit repeated form submissions. We do not add advertising trackers, behavioral analytics scripts, or tracking cookies. Cloudflare's Privacy Policy describes its processing.
Information in the app
The current app saves folding progress, preferences, saved plane adjustments, and flight records on your device. This includes personal bests and practice statistics. We do not receive that gameplay data, require an account, or access your location. In-game weather is simulated from the date.
The current beta does not connect to an advertising or analytics service. Its ad spaces and purchase controls are previews: they do not load live ads or process payments. If we introduce those services, we will update this policy before the new processing begins and provide any notices and choices that are required.
Your device's backup services may include local app data according to your Apple settings. Throwigami does not provide its own cloud sync service.
TestFlight
When you use the beta through TestFlight, Apple automatically collects and shares installation, usage, device, and crash information with us. Apple also shares feedback, comments, or screenshots you submit. Depending on how you were invited, this may include your name and email address. We use this information to test, troubleshoot, and improve Throwigami. See Apple's TestFlight privacy information for details and Apple-specific choices.
Children and families
Throwigami's folding activities can be used by families and children. The app's local folding and simulation features do not ask a child to send us personal information.
The website's launch-update signup is for adults. Children should ask a parent or guardian to sign up using the adult's own email address. We do not knowingly collect children's email addresses for the launch list. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact Support@makerfrontier.com so we can review and delete it. Please have an adult handle support or beta-testing communications for a child.
Who receives information
We use service providers as needed to host and secure the website, store the launch list, and handle email correspondence. They receive information needed for those services. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect people, our services, or legal rights. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address for other companies' marketing.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep launch-list information while needed to provide the updates you requested. You can leave the list or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing Support@makerfrontier.com with the subject “Remove my launch signup.” We will stop using the address for launch updates and remove it from the active list. We may retain a limited record when needed to honor a removal request, meet a legal obligation, or resolve an issue.
We keep support and beta-feedback information only as needed to resolve the matter, improve the app, or meet legal requirements. Hosting and email providers may retain limited backup or security records under their own retention practices.
In the app, Settings > Privacy > Delete flight history removes saved flight records, personal bests, and practice statistics. Removing the app deletes its local app data from that device; copies may remain in your device backups until you manage those backups through Apple.
Your choices and questions
You can browse the website without joining the launch list. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, withdraw consent, or complain to a privacy authority. Contact Support@makerfrontier.com to make a request. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify that we are responding to the right person.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and the service, but no system is completely secure.
